Little Havana... need I say more.
This is an old, dilapidated neighborhood. Can be dangerous. Nothing to see here. There's a reason most of the highways pass right by.
This is the area where in the 60's and 70's the Cuban refugees found a place to live, work and mingle. A second generation has moved out of the area leaving new refugees from Central and South America, but the Cuban flavor is still there, restaurant, shops, movie theaters. It is a way of visiting a piece of Havana without traveling 90 miles and most important, the stores have items to sell and the restaurants have food, contrary to the real Havana.
If you have never been to Obispo Street in Havana, at least you can get some of the flavor by walking on the side walk and ignoring the street. The vibrations and the photos that you will carry away from here....
