This park is located between the Intercontinental and Bayfront Plaza. The beach area is clean and very relaxing. I especially loved knowing I was walking the area where Julia Tuttle settled Miami.
The park has a great playground for kids. The families and kids are very friendly, everyone was talking to each other and kids were playing together. The park is beautiful and wonderful to walk during sunset in Miami.
The park itself is a nice area in downtown Miami that provides scenic views of Biscayne Bay. Lots of people exercise here and walk their dogs here as well. If at all possible, catch lunch from the food trucks that come here each day from 11 AM - 2 PM. The trucks rotate different days of the week, and you can find the schedule online under Bayfront Park. The Big Bus tours, Miami Heat's arena, and Bayside Shopping Center are right off the park. There is also an ampitheater here that hosts concerts throughout the year.
Awesome location, but the food, drinks and service are just average. They automatically include tip, which seems to make the service average.
Great place for an early morning or late afternoon run and walk the dog. Nice view of the bay and the Miami's Port.
