The stadium is (hopefully WAS) much more exciting than the Marlins were in 2012! Because the draw by late summer was poor...getting good seats at walk up was easy. Parking was convenient and simple, perhaps because of the small crowds, but there is a large garage next to the stadium, and residents in the neighborhood gladly open here driveways for the same price. Buy an expensive soda...and your refills are on the house...I don't think they do that with the beer! There is also one food stand that specializes in food from the location of the visiting team! That is really cool, especially when they play the Phillies! (Read: cheesesteaks and soft pretzels). Only in Miami do they put a nightclub with a pool in left field...and fill it with bikini-clad baseball fans! It's an interesting touch. Hopefully, the Marlins will rise to the occasion this year, and in years to come, because their stadium is already a winner! Only caution is to pay attention when leaving the stadium. There is a huge police presence to funnel traffic in the correct direction, because you really don't want to stray too far in the wrong direction especially late at night. Don't let that concern you, just pay attention on the way home. Go see a game, even if you are not a baseball fan. The stadium all but promises a great time.
