Visited during the South Beach Wine and Food Festival and coincidentally one of the festival's events took place in the jungle island so it made it even more fun with tasting tents of sponsors, stuff for kids, etc. So many cool looking birds, parrots, but also a few other animals.
A very short time is needed to see the whole place, we saw it all in just over an hour so it felt pricey. The animals look very happy and clean and were interacting with each other and the public rather than looking depressed so that was nice. Great to see rare animals like the lovely liger and other unusual beautiful big cats.
This is like a zoo but for birds and other small animals. They have done a nice job in putting together a very good selection of animals. Shows are really good as well.
Amazing how they can make a bird ride a bike. Parrots will dazzle you with their tricks. They can talk say jokes, count and even ride a bike on a high wire. Take the kids they will love it.
It was fantastic as my teenagers were taken up by the experience of feeding the Macaws. This has been my 3rd visit, the first being at it original location on Red Road. The shows were exciting with the birds of Prey but my youngest kept wanting to fo to feed that macaws. We had fun taking photos wth the birds all over you. It was a treat as they behaved really well for the photos.
