“Not that much to see”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

Good for kids 4+ we thought there would be more to see. There were some interesting plants and trees. I felt bad for the caged cats.

“Loved the White Tigers and Lion”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

The white tigers and lion are amazing. It's a good place to spend the day with the kids. Lots of lovely birds and cute educational shows for the children. They are doing a good job. The original parrot Jungle was a fixture here for many years and this is a nice addition with the variety of good looking animals. They( the animals) look like they are well taken care of.

“I recommend!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

This is a fun place for all ages to enjoy. There are shows that include different types of birds and other animals. There are chances to hold a baby alligator, exotic birds, lama, and the chance to rise a camal; although, there is a cost for the pictures with the animals. The cafe is not the best place to eat because their food was not that good so its best to take a snack or a lunch plus they have a picnic area. You can feed the parrots and take pictures of you're own as well. Beyond all, it is a good place to visit on your trip to Miami.

“Wow....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

While the area of this attraction at first seemed small, the experience was amazing. One does get accosted as they walk in, with animals and photographers taking your pictures with the animals, but once you are past that, there is so much to see and do. We met Dr something or other - the curator of something - as we walked along and were looking at gorillas. He stopped and started to tell us about the gorillas including one who had just been treated for cancer. He spent a good amount of time educating us and it was awesome. We then went to a show where they showed many different animals and all of us, including my 5 and 14 year olds loved it. Did the camel ride which was short but included a picture, fed birds and ate at the cafe, which was a good price and decent quality. We then made the short walk over to the Children's Museum.

“Plenty of animal encounters”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

Nice, jungle-like setting in the middle of a large, busy city. There are plenty of opportunities for close-up animal encounters even if you did not buy the VIP Safari tour. Examples of our animal encounters included feeding mccaws, kangaroos, goats, camel ride, and pictures holding Gibbon, pythons, tiger cub, mccaws, and cockatoos. They do not have a collection of animals that you would expect of a large zoo like Metro zoo or San Diego zoo/Wild Animal Park, and the place is relatively small & walkable, so your little ones won't be tired. The bird show was very entertaining. The cafeteria has good, healthy choices. You can easily spend 4-6 hours.
