Amazing nature but if you go during the summer time you will be really tired, there is a lot of parrots, but if you want todo see the lions or monkeys maybe will be better some place like bush gardens

“Expensive. Unenthusiastic employees. Disappointment”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

we got here at 2pm and were told that even though it is nearly 35.00 per person to get in, it would be worth it for us to go in for 3 hours until closing. We finished it all in an hour. For 70 dollars, there isn't much to take in. The show we saw hardly kept the attention of anyone, and you couldn't really understand the girls talking on the microphones. The show was supposed to feature the wild cats, and it did... but only 3 tiger cubs and two monkeys. They came out for about 2 minutes each, got a brief description and then left. No showing them off, no tricks, nothing impressive about it. The bathrooms (at least the women's) were fairly dirty ( I went into 3 different ones). I would not waste the time or money going here again. The biggest exhibits seems to be a giant koi pond that you walk around and see birds in cages. While there was a handful of primates and some nice looking jaguars, panthers, leopards, and tigers, all seemed to be kept in really small cages, and looked bored and uninterested in life. For lunch we had a burger and 2 beers and it was nearly 30.00. overall, don't waste your time unless you have little kids. There seems to be a popular petting zoo and playground, but a trip to the zoo is probably more exciting.

“Meetings in the middle of the gardens”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

International meeting within the grounds. All attendees were extremely impressed with the surroundings and seemed to relax and accomplish objectives with a positive attitude - an unusual feat for the professional group.

“Great Place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2012

My boyfriend and I visited Jungle Island before getting on our cruise ship. It is very close to the Port of Miami and costs about $10 to get to the port from Jungle Island by taxi. It's a cute place, a little cheesy and touristy, but that's why we went in the first place! Price is fair for what you get and see...

“Good family fun!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2012

The "jungle" is very well kept, and there are lots of shows to keep the family entertained, including a star named Pinky the cockatoo, who delighted my granddaughter with his bike riding on a wire! Pinky has a picture of himself with Winston Churchill, near his perch. The parrots are colorful and entertaining! There are tigers as well, monkeys and also a show boasting penguins and other exotics. There is a petting zoo, and a kangaroo pen where people can feed the animals grapes and kangaroo chow, be sure to get a picture with your child and a kangaroo!
