The shows are fun. The birds are beautiful. You can even feed them. There is a place to eat by the lake. Take a day and see the place.

We went there with our 2 years old,visiting from NYC. I am a huge animal lover and go often to zoo. This place is a money maker type of place and it seems that taking care of animals is their last concern. There was loud music playing everywhere , the cages very totally inappropriate especially for the lions and tigers, it is very sad to see these beauty in cages that have no place where they can have some piece and quiet, no trees nor rocks to climb. Overall not a place to go if you truly care for wild life. Instead make a donation to a charity but don't waste your money there. Also when you walk in, there are many employees holding animals so you can take pictures, these animals are all day long held by people walking in, again not the way we should experience wild animals. Alligator with mouse taped and birds with clipped wings....shame on you jungle island.

The park has lots of animals and a few shows, but it has nothing special and /or unique. The staffs are friendly, but the park itself is not that interesting.

Worth a visit but not for more than a couple of hours, expensive and a bit cheesy. But kids apparently love it
