Did not tour the Parrot Jungle park but did the Lemur Experience. If you love handling (and being handled) by incredibly soft, sweet creatures, this is for you. Had a full 45 minutes surrounded by the lemurs, feeding them and learning about them. All around very good!

Although it is expensive, I thought it was great. I've never been to a zoo where you were so close to sure exotic animals. They have a few shows where they actually bring out tigers and linx for you to see up close. I think my husband and I enjoyed it more than our kids (4 & 2) though. We loved seeing the lions, tigers and even a liger up close. They charge for everything, but so do all zoos and attractions like this. I would definitely visit again in a few years, when the kids are old enough to enjoy it more.

Pay the extra money and go Disney. This is a low-budget park that's not worth the gate price. Hardly any animals. The Animals are kept in small cages , exposed to the hot sun and no room to roam. There was lady hosing down one of the cages and spraying people passing by with water and whatever material was in the cage. We went to one show-incidently the lady who was cleaning the cage was in this show- four animals were shown; most of the time was spent talking and I did not understand one word they said- spoke as if they were announcers at a wrestling match.

A visit to Jungle Island is an adventure that includes educational animal stage shows, interactive safaris, a petting zoo and a children's playground.It is home to more than 3,000 exotic animals and 500 species of plants.The kids will enjoy three exciting shows — Winged Wonders, Reptiles of the Jungle and Tale of the Tiger. What is really unique is that Jungle Island trainers use I-pads so they can better communicate with the orangutans .
