Hotel was a 2+. The room was clean but well used. The hotel needs a up date look. I did not know it was a stop over for people going to the medical complex area. One must have dinner there since you must take a taxi. Staff is good. I will not stay there again.

Room Tip: room was good size, Has two computer down stairs

This is a relatively new property with excellent and well behaved staff. The rooms are really spacious and well equipped. A microwave and fridge in the studio room make your stay very comfortable. The hotel provides free shuttle service to and from the airport. The breakfast plan is good, gets a bit monotonous in case of longer stay. The only negative feature is its distance from the south beach.

we just needed a hotel to basically sleep at for a couple of nights and this place was good enough for what we needed. hotel lobby is modern and clean. staff are friendly. we were at the top floor which was quiet and had the view of the lake. our room was clean and had no problems.

Room Tip: top floor was quiet and view of the lake was nice.

........do not expect excellent shuttle service with a smile.

We arrived on a Friday evening, received the free shuttle to the hotel from the airport. We arrived at the hotel, checked-in & inquired about taking the shuttle to a grocery store close by. It was around 9pm at this time. We were advised absolutely, the driver could take us 1 mile down the road to Publix. Great!! We were also advised the last shuttle leaves the hotel at 10:30 and it has to be back by 11pm because that is when it stops running. No problem.

We ran upstairs, dropped our bags, did a few things and made it back downstairs, outside waiting for the shuttle at 9:50pm. The shuttle arrived back at the hotel at 10:15pm. We asked the driver to run us down to Publix to pick up some water and sodas. This is where we got irritated.

The driver sighed, looked at us, then his watch and proceeded to inform us, yes, but he had to be off the clock by 10:45pm. I replied with, "And??. We were told the shuttle has to be back by 11pm and we had plenty of time since it's 1 mile down the road." He huffed and puffed and then felt the need to explain to us about his time, overtime and that he still had other things to do after he gets back to the hotel. I replied with "Sorry, but that's between you and the hotel, not us." It was a mess, but needless to say, he dropped us off at Publix, it took us 5 minutes to get our stuff, but we waited outside for 20 minutes for him to pick us up.

I'm not sure why he was trying to make his work hours our problem, because it certainly wasn't our problem.

The room was fine, very clean and spacious. The bathroom was clean for the most part, but had hair in the shower when we arrived, so that was gross.

Check-in was quick and easy. Breakfast was ok, nothing special.

I would like to say that we would stay here again, but due to the issues we had with the shuttle driver, I'm not sure that we would. I think next time, we'll stay closer to the port.

We spent 1 night here due to a 23 hour layover in Miami. It's 5 minutes from the airport. I called a couple days before arrival to ask about the shuttle and was told I just needed to call when I got my luggage and they'd send it. We arrived on Wednesday and had luggage in hand by 10:35am. I called and was told I just missed a shuttle and the next one would be there around 11:20. Since we didn't want to wait 45 minutes we just grabbed a taxi and paid the $15 fare. Upon arrival we were told our room wasn't ready since they had a full house the night before. We decided to buy a soft drink from the market and wait outside. They didn't charge for our drinks since we had to wait.
We asked about the shuttle for the morning and were told it starts at 5am. Our departing flight was at 7 so we thought that'd be fine. She told us to be in the lobby about 10 minutes to 5 to be sure to get a seat.
We got to the lobby at 4:45 and told the gentleman at the desk we were there for the shuttle. He said it leaves at 5. We got coffee (too early for free breakfast) and sat outside to wait. At approximately 5:01am, the gentleman came out and said the driver was running late but not to worry. He had called a taxi for us and the hotel would cover the fare. We made it to the airport in plenty of time.
We were very impressed with the hotel's proactiveness to provide a taxi to be sure we got to the airport on time.
As for the room, it was clean and comfortable...all that was needed for a good nights sleep.

First of all I booked this room because the airport shuttle and cruise shuttle was all supposed to be included. Well our flight arrived at 10:30 pm we waited for a shuttle till 11 then we called and were told they had stopped at 11. So we hailed a cab to the hotel get there to find out our room had a non functioning toilet so we waited another hourfor the repair man who did not show. When I went back to lobby told the front desk we were tired but were not staying in a room with 3 people and a non functioning toilet. Finally transferred us to another room. So bye the time we could get settled down for the night it was 1:30 am
In the morning we asked about the cruise port shuttle the manager said it was not on our booking # and it would be cheaper for us to take a cab. Veronica did not seem to even care that we had such a bad check in experience last night as well.
I travel a lot and have been to Miami many times. After this experience I will not return and do not recommend this hotel.
Not a great way to start our cruise vacation.

Stayed there for one night and really liked it. It's quite close from the airport and from Dolphin Mall if you want to do some shopping.
Te room is quite spacious and clean. They have parking lot. Breakfast is ok.
