“Deliciosoooooo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

This is a little restaurant with a peculiar name not that good for the hispanic people in a place that you can not expect, because when you get there is like a seven eleven on the outside , but when you go inside is beautiful, cozy to go with your husband or boyfriend, the place is really nice i really enjoyed the food is amazing and its not expensive i will go again with my family

“Whacky choice for a meal at the gas station !!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

This restaurant was mentioned in my guidebook and as it was nearby the hotel I decided to check it out. Apparently it used to be a Citgo gas station but it is now a BP station. Really whacky atmosphere entering the restaurant through the store/deli/wine shop. The food was superb from the croquettes to the fish and the cakes were fab too. The service was prompt & efficient. You can also takeout any of the empanadas/pastries and cakes from the deli. Also being able to choose your wine from the store and take it though to be opened at your table was great.(a small corkage fee A very different night out and very enjoyable.

“Paradox - hi-end tapas and wine bar in a gas station.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012 via mobile

Exceptional wine value - amazing selection of wine at reasonable prices to begin with - $10 corkage for eat-in. Tapas are excellent. Five people ate for about $25 each, we had two bottles of very nice Rioja in addition ($30 + $10 corkage). We sat at the long community table which was incredibly festive.

“Nice for Tapas and Wine”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2012

Haven't been to El Carajo in a while, since last time they had changed chef and food was not up to previous standards. But still is a great place to go and enjoy great wines and incredible reasonable prices. You get what you want from the walls and pay a $10 corkage fee, and pair with cheeses and tapas and you'll have a great time.
