“Stay Away!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

I've been out on cow fields to hit balls than were nicer than this course. The tee boxes are all dirt, the greens are comparable to off roaring and a few of the fairways are nothing but brown without a glimpse of green grass in site. The worst part is that they are charging $35 to play and the course was packed. Time to sink some $$$ back into the course before the whole place goes under. That's 3.5 hours I will never get back.

“A dump”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

The course is a mud pit. The tees have basically zero grass. the fairways are burned beyond recognition and around the greens is just a mud pit. the have the gaul to charge $48.00 to play this dump. the food in the restaurant takes forever and it is horrible. It is sad because I live in Miami Springs and usually have a great time there, but the course and restaurant have steadily gone down hill to the point they are at now. Don't go anywhere near this dump.

“Nice People, East to Get Tee Time, Course in Rough Shape”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013 via mobile

I played as a single and found this course easy to get on and the people who worked there extremely friendly. The historic old course is not difficult but the fairways are in horrible shape. The only time I played on grass was in the rough. The greens are in poor shape. All in all, if you want an inexpensive course to play in very expensive South Florida, this may be for you. If the condition of the course matters to you more than convenience and price, this is not the place for you. It's in rough shape.

“Bad condition”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

This course has fairways 75% mud and 25% thin grass plus terrible greens. Also they don't enforce reasonable play speed.

“Nice Historic Course”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

A little disappointed by previous reviews as I've always thought Miami Springs was a nice, lower priced golf facility. I played there today and found the course in decent shape. Granted, some tee boxes and some fairways are a bit bare in spots but remember this is south Florida where grass doesn't do well this time of year. As far as the greens are concerned I felt that all were basically the same, FAST. Granted there are other courses that may be in better shape if you want to pay big bucks for Doral.
