I played as a single and found this course easy to get on and the people who worked there extremely friendly. The historic old course is not difficult but the fairways are in horrible shape. The only time I played on grass was in the rough. The greens are in poor shape. All in all, if you want an inexpensive course to play in very expensive South Florida, this may be for you. If the condition of the course matters to you more than convenience and price, this is not the place for you. It's in rough shape.
