“A nice place to visit in Miami”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

A very nice and beautiful place to visit. The trail was very nice and easy to walk around the garden. If you have kids, they will love the water park. It is a a great place to get wet for the kids and for the adults to relax. I would recommend this Garden if you are in the Miami area.

“Good For kids”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

Is really good for kids and the price excellent. $3 adults, 2$ kids, 3$ if you include Splash & Play. Not bad. You can feed the fishes, turtles. You can see big "iguanas".They have petting zoo, playground and beautiful gardens. You can bring food and beverages(picnic) - no alcohol.

“Wonderful park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

It was once the home of the Parrot Jungle, Many trails left to walk and often a day festival here and there. Explosion of beauty as the orchids or air plants are in bloom year round in the trees. The trees can cool a summer day for your walk. I lived nearby and just loved the place.

“Awesome for kids”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

This used to the the old Parrot Jungle so much of the landscaping and trails have been around for decades. Despite the summer heat in Miami, the foilage creates an abundance of shade as you walk around and it's not as hot as it could be. As you wind your way through the park, you eventually come across a great little water park for kids. Nothing fancy and no pools, just a nice open area with a number of sprinklers and water spouts for kids to run through. But be prepared, kids can definitely get soaked so it they really want to get into it, a swimsuit is a must- or just get wet. There are benches and shaded areas for parents to relax while they run around. In addition to this water area is a nice sized playground and snack shop with ice cream. All in all, it is an enjoyable place to visit and kids really seem to like it. Best part is that unlike everything else in Miami, it won't cost you an arm and a leg to experience it.
