We stayed 4 nights post cruise in February 2013.
We arrived before normal check in time and were delighted that our suite was ready for occupation. Check in was fast,friendly and efficient. The suite was very spacious,spotlessly clean and in excellent condition. It is well worth the extra cost over a normal room. The only strange thing is the wash basin that is not screened from the room area. The breakfast was fine and more motel than hotel standard. The location of the property, providing you do not want to be beachside, is really good with public transport and bars/restaurants and a few shops only a few minutes walk away. A car is not necessary at this property. This is a very under rated "star wise " property, and is really a good 4 star hotel. With a restaurant and a few more facilities it would be 5 star. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Stayed one night before going on cruise. Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice pool with a vacation feeling. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Is walking distance to numerous restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

We were four friends that stayed at this lovely hotel on our return from a cruise. The location to the metro mover was so convenient and we found the front desk concierge very helpful with maps and information on where to go. The location of this hotel is walking distance to many amenities. Our favorite place to eat you ask...the chicken rotisserie across the street called Kokorika. The price was great and the food delish! Our waitress Marcela made our evening. Drop by and say hello to her. Thank You Hampton Inn for making our first visit to Miami memorable.

I choose this hotel since i have been reading lots of reviews, I was not disappointed.The Hotel was clean,nice and all the staff was very helpful and nice.The surronding was more like a suburb/no noise from cars etc.The room was big and clean with nice style.The breakfast was good and lots of things to choose from.The pool was small but very nice (warm) and poolarea with poochairs and cabanas was nice.They have a whirlpool too but we didnt try that.The surrondings was good with plenty of restaurants/bars/shops. The have the free train Metromover around the corner.You can go with that around downtown and to Bayside Market by the water.Lots of restaurants and shops.From there you can take the watertaxi to lots of places.We went to South Beach and even saw dolphins! Parking cost 18 dollar each day,but there are cheaper parking around corner if you wanna park on the street.
