“Precruise Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2012

We stayed in Hampton Inn & Suites Miami/Brickell for only one night 1/6/12 before taking off on cruise. Extremely clean, quiet, very comfortable bed. We could not be more satisfied with stay.
Staff are attentive & courteous and highly professional. The only thing that could make this
hotel perfect is that they need to have a shuttle from airport. That would make it perfect. We
rented a car but would have preferred to have a shutte from airport. We will return to this
hotel and highly recommend it!!!

Dear sandylovesCT,

Expected to open April/2012, the Metrorail line that connects Miami International Airport to Downtown Miami will stop at the Brickell Station, which is just a few steps from our door. I guess this will serve as a very efficient and fast shuttle to and from the Airport. Thank you for noticing this on your review, for staying with us and for recommending us.

Please keep us in mind for the future.

Staying in a brand-new hotel is always a great experience in itself, so our stay at the Hampton-Brickell in early January was made even more enjoyable by its attractive art-deco themes and wall art, the spaciousness, excellent breakfasts, services like Wi-Fi, etc. and the very friendly staff. In previous visits to Miami we had stayed with relatives in the suburbs, but this time the hotel's location right in downtown within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the Metro-Mover though still easily accessible to be picked up by friends/family from the suburbs, was a terrific choice for us and our Miami relatives. We highly recommend this beautiful Hampton Inn, one of the best of the Hamptons we've ever stayed in.

Room Tip: Air conditioning a little too cool and a bit noisy, so may need to turn it off at times. But the vie...

I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Miami/Brickell for 2 nights 1/18 – 1/20/2011. The check in was super fast and efficient. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The A/C is very well designed and keeps the set temperature perfectly without making a lot of noise. The bathrooms are functional and clean, but look more like “contractor edition”, nothing special. Internet access is free and speed is acceptable to check your emails and browse the Internet. Self parking is $18/day with unlimited access. The hotels offers free breakfast which, while not being fancy, is very convenient and is more than adequate to get you through the morning. As for the area, there is Brickell Village a couple of blocks from the hotel with a few restaurants and shops; the hotel is about 1/3 of a mile to the water; there is easy access to public transportation, but I did not use it, so cannot give specifics.
Overall the hotel is a good value for a business traveler. Most likely I would stay there again when I am in the area.

My husband and I stayed at this brand new property during the ING Marathon/Half Marathon. The first five floors were parking spaces - hotel lobby was located on the 6th floor although there was a greeting area on the first floor.

The hotel was sold out the day we checked in for the ING and people arriving from cruises. Although the front desk was busy, we were greeted with a very friendly Vanessa who told us about the breakfast schedule, gave us coupons for free drinks at the bar, and even went to the elevator to show us how the key worked in the elevators! By the time we said our goodbyes, my husband asked if I found a new best friend!!!

The hotel was eco-friendly. Even one of the trash containers in our room had a section labeled recycled. The lights inside the rooms would only work if we turned on one of the main light switches.

The staff was super friendly. We appreciated the two ladies that worked the morning of the ING Marathon. I found out that breakfast bar is normally open from 6 - 10, but the hotel wanted to accommodate the runners so the hotel opened breakfast at 5 am. Breakfast items included omelet with cheese, sausage, french toast sticks, oatmeal, fruit, cereals, bagels and spreads, pastries, juices, etc. It was also helpful to have ready made breakfast to go in the lobby. I always appreciated that with Hampton Inn.

Rooms were super clean. I needed extra shampoo/conditioner that was delivered immediately by the lady that worked on the 11th floor. I'm sorry I didn't catch her name. Our room overlooked a very nice part of Miami. Brickell was 1-3 blocks from the hotel so we had plenty of restaurants to choose from.

The property was less than 2 miles from the start line. Some of the runners that stayed in the hotel walked to the start line, but we decided to take the free Metromover which was half a block from the property. We were at the start line in 10 minutes. We decided to walk after running the half marathon and it was a great way to explore more of the city. The route was safe. Metromover is a free unmanned transportation that links you to downtown Miami. Hours are from 5 am to midnight.

It has been years since we visited Miami and we were quite impressed. We will definitely stay at Hamptonn Inn Downtown/Brickell and would recommend it without hesitation. Price, convenience, location, trendiness, and staff friendliness are the major reasons why we would stay here again.

We usually book rooms for our corporate visitors at the JW Marriott in Miami. They were sold out and we had to resort to another hotel within walking distance. Although a difference in star rating, we were very pleased with the ambiance, location, decor and service at the Hampton Inn Brickell. I've never seen a Hampton Inn like it! This feels like a boutique hotel - from the lobby to the rooms and the chic Miami style rooftop pool! Of course you also receive complimentary breakfast, wi-fi and afternoon cocktail hour. I would choose this hotel moving forward for our corporate guests and would reccommend it to anyone. The rate is a bit higher than other hotels in the area, but you cant argue because you get so much for your money here and it is brand new. Not to mention, it is just steps away from Mary Brickell Village restaurants, shops & night life.

The 1st ever Hampton Inn bar is a huge hit mostly because the bartender Tiffany is a fantastic mixologist and hostess.

We had an amazing experience with this Hampton Inn. It was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful in giving us the best price he could on such short notice. The staff there was extremely helpful and would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Miami area. Also has the best continental breakfast on the planet.
