“Lovely hotel - you need money though”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2012

Had a 2 night stay at the Mandarin Oriental and could not really fault it. Ok you pay high prices but the view from the room was excellent. The size of the room was excellent and the bath room was to die for.
We checked in as newly weds and told the staff we were on our honeymoon. They very kindly sent us a card and some lovely cakes, so credit to the management for doing that. - Was a lovely touch.
Breakfast was fantastic - again pricey but you get what you pay for. Lovely food and great service. Would definitely recommend.

Maid service twice a day and she washed my coffee cup (I travel with my own fave) folded my jammies and tidied up my toiletries and brought me bottled water every day. The staff is just genuinely nice to you. Everyone looks you in the eye and greets you even just in passing. The air is always lightly fragranced, everything spotlessly clean and the orchid plant in my bathroom was such a nice homey touch.

I was there on business and did not use the pool or spa but I sure wanted to. I can't wait to go back and have recommended Mandarin Miami to a friend who is planning a Miami trip.

Room Tip: Some balconies are large enough for a table and two chairs. Nice for morning coffee, evening glass...

Just enjoyed our third visit to this great hotel this year and they never fail to make our stay as special as ever. Service and food at both restaurants and around the pool is beyond excellent. Everyone makes you feel at home and we cannot wait to return next month. 5 stars is not a high enough rating for this great property.

Location is gorgeous (weather was off while I was there), Ambience is spectacular-lobbies, rooms, aroma?, service memorable
Restaurant food was great; Azul meets your expectations. Waiter inexperienced, but motivated
Exercise center adequate
Disappointed they closed pool and beach for a private party after 5 pm! Guests shouldn't have to avoid those areas when they are paying top dollar.

I went here with a friend to enjoy a spa getaway. The service was great and the room and pool were very nice. However, the "private beach" is not great (it is on the harbor and you cannot swim). The spa was definitely nice but I have had better treatments/ambiance.

This is a hotel that services all your needs. Only negative thing is that room at this hotel is expensive, and breakfast is not included in price. But on the other hand, you get what you pay for. From the first man at the door until the goodbye when leaving. Normal room was quite spacious, bathroom was clean ja comfortable. View from the balcony was nice. We also used the room service, quality was best than ever.

Pool area was also fine, not the best but what you can expect from the city hotel. Infinity pool and view to the harbour... nice. But nothing is perfect. We noticed that there was only one chair at the balcony, and toilet seat was leaking. But why to cry for those... for us it was time to enjoy. Thank you :)
