I have stayed at this location for 14 days so far in 2012 and still can't find anything too negative. Yes, it is a still just a Hampton, but at the top of the Hapmton scale.
For business south of MIA, this location is very good. Access to the goodies in Coconut Grove and the Gables is very easy. Rooms are clean and the facility is relatively new. The staff tends to be young and very friendly.
As is the case with most South Forida motels of all brands, the guest room AC and Wi Fi are weak, but survivable.
Tamara, the guest greeter, said hello every morning at breakfast and reminded me how much my business was appreciated. She also gave me a gift bag with snacks, wine and candy; not typical for any Hampton. They have a happy hour two nights of the week with decent appetizers, beer and wine. Unusual for Hamptons in my experience.
My favorite fast food, Pollo Tropical is less that 100 yards away. Good, Great and world class restaurants are a very short drive. Close to UM, Key Biscayne, and Downtown Miami.
This Hampton ower has several locations in South florida and they all tend to be better then Hampton flagged motels in the area. I will be back, and look forward to the stay.
Thank-you Coconut Grove Hampton
Overall, a very solid
