“Close to airport, clean and very good breakfast”

A few minutes from the airport this hotel was ideal for us and also had underground parking. The breakfast was excellent and had a large selection to choose from. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms were quite small but clean. There wasn’t much to see or do around the hotel other than a few recognised food chains and a Wallgreen’s so we were glad we had a car to be able to drive to other attractions like Miami Beach which was only a few minutes’ drive.

After a week-long cruise, we stayed here for one night before heading home.
The beds were comfortable! And there is a free shuttle to/from the airport which was superb.
The staff was VERY accommodating; we arrived off the ship and were tired but they did their best to get rooms ready for us quickly. They even sent a shuttle to another nearby Hampton property to retrieve a lost car seat!
I cannot comment on the restaurant as we didn't have breakfast there; our flight left too early.
No gated/locked parking if that is a concern and you are driving.
This is an older hotel. The shower curtain's plastic insert was torn. Some of the carpets have seen better days. A bit run-down looking. But the staff is kind and helpful.
One thing that will make this hotel very hard for me to consider again; the scents. For some unknown reason, housekeeping sprays a very strong smelling spray very frequently. So strong that it brought tears to my eyes and made me cough in the short walk from the front desk to the elevators. My friend who has scent reactions had to scoot up the back stairs! But she didn't completely avoid it. They sprayed that stuff all night long, about hourly. We told the staff and I hope they bring it up with management. I have never stayed in a hotel that was that strongly scented. No clue why it's done. But I do hope they ease up on it.

The hotel is not really at the airport. Waited 55 minutes for the shuttle to pick me up (even though it was only 10 minute drive from the airport). Staff were amazing. Super sweet. Furniture was so bad that a chair tore my pants (it had a nail sticking out of it).

We joined our friends on a last-minute, end-of-year trip to South Florida. We had a nice-sized room overlooking the pool. This was a pretty typical Hampton Inn: clean room, nice bed, and good service. Despite the airplane noise and noisy A/C unit, we slept well. Breakfast was a madhouse. The coffee was surprisingly good. They also offer some complimentary brownbag breakfasts as well which were appreciated. The location was convenient for exploring different places outside of Miami. Getting to both Key Largo and Shark Valley was no problem with a car. Getting to Miami Beach was a bit of a pain, but that's probably true unless you stay there.

There is a great little Columbian restaurant in the stripmall next to the hotel called Patacon Pisa'o. It was the only restaurant there open at 9pm on a Friday (surprising), but it's great. Knowing spanish will help there. Aside from this stripmall, there isn't much in pedestrian-safe walking distance. It's far from the Metro and Tri-Rail. You will need a car here

The staff were great, although I didn't really have any issues. They all seemed to be English-Spanish bilingual.

Have stayed here a number of times before, mostly with good resuots. Good place to stay and park before a cruise or airport trip. On previous trip, had some service issues. Spoke to the manager and she was very responsive, otherwise I would have gone elsewhere. This time, we could not have been happier with the service. The lobby and breakfast areas have undergone renovation as well. I would recommend and return myself. Props to the manager.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a package with Carnival Cruise Lines. The free airport shuttle took 1.5 hours to pick us up at the Miami airport. They took another 30 minutes to check us in because they couldn't find our reservation. The rooms were horrible! There was mold in the bathroom and rust on the fixture. The rooms were also musty smelling. The door looked as though it was kicked in several times. The hotel is also in a bad neighborhood.

The next morning, I asked them to order a cab to take us to the boat dock. Instead, they sent a van that charge double the rate of a cab ride.

Don't stay at this hotel. Carnival Cruise Line should be ashamed for booking it for us.

Great business Hotel near Miami Airport........Excellent staff, very comfortable rooms and Free in room Wi-Fi. Easy choice for a Business stay...........................................2nd. floor have smoking rooms option
