This was a very nice hotel which has a lot of nice touches. Very clean, very comfortable beds and a very good hot breakfast for us in the morning. The welcome bottle of water and cookies upon arrival was also a nice touch. I highly expect that we will stay here again when we are in the Miami area.

The hotel has good relationship price-quality. Very close to the airport.
the goods: Very nice room with outstanding bed, very clean, nice bathroom, very good breakfast, friendly staff, the parking is free.
The bad: the standard rooms has no fridge.

The rooms are updated, beds comfy with the basic amenities. However, the area looked very unsafe...you have to definately be on the alert at all time in and around the car park. The staff was not to helpful! Not a good place to relax for a vacation!

The hotel localization is good,near by airport and near by wall- mart,taco bell and the dolphin mall.it's ok to me.The service is average and they have vending machines on the floor with water and soda it was a very good deal.

The rooms at this hotel are furnished rather well, with all the amenities. The beds are very comfortable. They provide a full breakfast daily. That's the good news. Now the bad news, the hotel provided airport shuttle is atrocious. Going to the airport, there is no problem, as the shuttle leaves every hour on the hour. Returning from the airport to the hotel is an entirely different matter. We called at curbside and were told the shuttle is on the way and would be there in fifteen minutes. Thirty five minutes later the shuttle arrived. Halfway to the hotel, the driver gets a telephone call from the hotel and is instructed to go back to the airport and pick up other travelers. Bottom line, we arrived at the hotel one hour and fifteen minutes from when we originally called for pickup

I would like to take this time into thanking you for your visit with us at the Hampton Inn Miami-Airport West in September of 2012. I see your high contribution to your TripAdvisor membership, and cannot say how grateful I am to have you chosen to reserve in our hotel during your time here in Miami, FL. I understand some minor inconveniences you may have experienced during the time you were a guest to our facilities, which resulted in a delay for pick-up prior to your arrival back to our hotel to get your vehicle. I definitely appreciate your concerns regarding this matter, bringing up the fact how important it is to have this amenity as part of your stay in our property, especially when all that was needed to be done is get you to your car for the beginning of your trip back home. I would like to ensure you that this issue has been referred to management, improving our coordination with the shuttle transportation services. I do recall of this incident occuring, having the driver return to the airport for another guest that was also waiting for a pick up since there was only one driver available at the time. I thank you again for your patience and cooperation throughout the outcome of this situation, clarifying that this is no regular treatment any guest should encounter. I hope to see you some time soon as a visitor to our facilities, wishing for the second chance we may provide you with into witnessing what our hotel really has to offer.

This was the only hotel we could find available, we were staying a night and then leaving for our cruise the next morning.
The van driver that picked us up from the airport, kept driving past us everytime but we laughed that off and thanked him for picking us up.
We ended up in a smoking room, luckily it didn't smell too bad. The beds were standard Hampton ones and the room was ok. You could tell the room had some problems because of the stains on the ceiling. The issue with this hotel is the afternoon - 11pm shuttle driver, he gives the incorrect information ( the man with the mole). He dropped us off at the mall for lunch around 3:30/4 and said when we are ready to call him and he would pick us up. So we called the hotel and they informed us that the shuttle wouldn't be running again until 9pm. Needless to say we had to find a cab and now pay around $20. This wasn't right and I believe the hotel should have compensated us for that!
Breakfast was crazy, not enough seating or food. I asked one of the attendants working for cream cheese and he said no say.. he doesn't know... So I found an Asian woman who looked like a manager, where the cream cheese and other items were and she said they were all out. How do you not have the essentials and you are at least 90% occupied???? This was a dissappointment. Breakfast was not like the other Hamptons and I hope a change happens with their standards. Management needs to step in and see whats going on.
The night auditor was great forget his name but he knows why!!!

We stayed over because is near the airport but we really had a great impression of the hotel staff, they made us feel like if we were home.
The tv remote was not working and in less of 5 minutes they had it fixed.
