The room is perfect for families and very close to Miami Airport. Easy access to major freeways and other sites in Miami. The room is very spacious and comfortable, but my son was bitten by some unknown bug and had marks for almost a week. We don't know what happened and he didn't get ill but we were worried.

Outside there is a big lake with some really big fishes there. I saw some really big ones swimming by where I was fishing and with the right equipment there could be some really good memories. I got 5 of the little ones, but still fun. There's also a golf course, a mini golf course and a swimming pool.

Even with the bug, we would come back.

Doral was really expensive-$16 for a BLT sandwich? 4:50 for a coke and no refills??
Marriot villas were nice as long as you did not mind a plane flying over every 3-5 minutes as the landing pattern for Miami International went over the Doral golf courses and the Marriott Villas.

This property is amazing for a lengthy stay. The rooms are 2-bedroom/2-bath villas and very large, both bedrooms had 2 queens and there was a total of 2 sofabeds so you could sleep 8 if needed. The room is basically an apartment, with a full kitchen and large living area. We had a balcony that overlooked the lake and it was nothing short of amazing. The hotel even had glasses, dishes and utensils fully stocked. The pool is amazing and open until 11pm. I did not want to leave this place. They have a gym and a small game area that we played some ping pong at, they had a few arcade games and I was surprised to see they actually charged you quarters to play them. Doesn't really seem necessary to charge people for that who are paying $300 a night. I had read complaints about airplane noise, I only recall hearing 2 planes and that was when I was on the balcony and it wasn't bad.

Clean villas and common areas. Good customer service. Without the access to the Trump pools etc., the trip would not have been as enjoyable. Limited activities, I think it was because of the holidays, but we did not join any of them due to lack of interest in what was offered. Expected at least a bingo game but none here. Next time will go to a different location as we had fun but not as good a time as we had at other locations....
