Quite worn-down hotel in the Marriott complex. Room was like most older airport hotels, showing many signs of need for a face-lift. We were referred to the adjoining Marriott Hotel for dinner, food very plain. Breakast in the Courtyard in the morning was quite good and included in our room price. All in all a stay which will be easily forgotten.

We stayed here for one night in Feb. 2007 with a group of business colleagues before leaving on a cruise. The company made our reservations for us.
It was clean but basic, the staff were adequate, it was fine for one night.
The entrance with the stairway is still the main entry to the lobby, but there is a ramp right around the side of the building and plenty of handicapped parking.

My real complaint is that this hotel charges you for a minimal breakfast buffet which at most other hotels would be complimentary. Many people did not realize that there was a charge until a bill was presented. For the price this hotel charges for a night's stay, $9.95 for coffee, juice and a small box of Special K is outrageous.

I made this reservation at the last minute and could not do any research.
I am American Airlines Platium 2 million miles so I stay in hotels too frequently. As soon as I arrived, I realized this was not going to be a typical Marriott stay.
First the front door is a stupid design. What hotel put a stairway at the front door. Arriving with luggage you have to carry it up the stairs!
Next there was a person sitting outside the front door that looked undesirable.
The check in person was pleasant. The room was worn to say the least. This was not the bad part. There was a extremely strong smell of cleaning solution. So strong I could not breath or sleep. I checked in past midnight and had been traveling for many hours. Did not have the strength to try to change rooms and did not have the belief that any would be and better.
I have noticed recently that other hotels are using the same cleaner. I believe they do this to get smoke out of non smoking rooms. The cure is worse than the problem.
Breakfast was cold coffee and dry eggs.
If you have a choice stay somewhere else or sleep in the park.

This hotel is in a bad part of town, however, this is a gated hotel, so when I was in the hotel and on the grounds, I never felt unsafe.
My room was clean, appeared to be cleaner than most I've stayed in. My bed is the main issue. These hotels refuse to use fitted sheets, they just use regular sheets. Well the night I arrive, the sheet was too small to be tucked in on either side of the bed. So during the night, it kept coming up and I ended up on that nasty pad. I did tell the front desk about the problem and they told the maids to put a bigger sheet on my bed. After that, I didn't have a issue I was able to tuck the sheet under each side of the bed, however, all hotels should get rid of those non fitted sheets.
The food at the hotel was horrible. Don't eat there.
Also, the shuttle to the airport does not run 24 hours. If you have an early flight, like I did at 5:30am and you want to take your rental car back the day before to save some time before your flight, you can't do it. The shuttle starts running at 5am and for a 5:30am flight, that's no good. Some of the people working were ok, but most were very rude and did not want to help out.
