This is a great way to see Miami especially at the start of your holiday as you can work out where to go and spend more time. We did the 24 hour trip as we had plans for the following day, but with some planning it would be better to get the 48 hour deal if you can. We decided to take the tours and not really use the hop on hop off feature too much.
The first bus we picked up was disappointing and we thought we had wasted money as we had to sit downstairs and they have painted the outside so you cant see out of the windows, this was also an automated guide which is OK but as we found out no where near as good as the real person guides. The other issue with the first bus was the driver, he decided he wanted a 20 minute break at Little Havana and so we waited despite it being 30 minutes late. Again we discovered they do not work to time.

When we changed to the South Beach side we got a real person and she was FAB, very entertaining and full of knowledge.

It is a great way to get to know all the best bits but try to get a real person not the headset option if you can and sit upstairs or you see nothing

We took the 48h-pass incl. the Biscayne Boat Tour! We enjoyed it a lot! Staff and guides were very helpfull and friendly!
