Just came back tonight (11-23) after a fantastic three night stay at the JW Mariott. It is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed anywhere. Clean, decent size rooms, paper at your door daily, comp bottled water in the room daily, great plasma tv on the wall and overall excellent.

Great from top to bottom - Peder at the front desk upgraded us to the concierge level with the free food and honor bar ...

Pool is a must-do as is the breakfast buffet (try to get coupons as it's VERY expensive)

Clean, great rooms, love the flatscreen and the furnishings...

Close to everything in Financial District and to all of downtown.

Nice hotel, really impressed.

Location's the only thing that counts against it as it's in the heart of the Business District, which means all the sights are a drive away.

Front desk was good, very quick and efficient.

Concierge lounge had good selection with pleasant staff. Free internet in every room on the concierge level - excellent freebie, saved unpacking my laptop all the time.

Staff in the 2nd floor bar (the only one open on weekends) were friendly enough, if a bit slow in responding to empty glasses!

Rooms, standard JW, comfy bed.

My room smelt a bit damp, but the carpet looked and felt like it had just been cleaned, so presume it was that.

Other than that minor niggle (which went when the Air Con was on), highly recommended.

Wow! I have spent my first night in Miami in this hotel and cannot describe how great it was. Very comfortable beds , in-room complimentary internet access (great, great, great!!!), 42´ flat tvs, rooms carefully maintained in every single detail.

I felt very safe at all times, their staff is extremely helpful and kind and there are nice little touches everywhere, like complimentary bottled water near the check in.

It’s not a beach hotel, however, it’s more like a business hotel, but they have a nice swimming pool and spa/fitness facilities. I would have loved to remain there for the whole stay. Perhaps next time...

Arrived on Saturday around 12:00, and early Check-In was available. Went to the room and it was exactly like it was presented on the website. Soft classical music was playing when we entered the room and everything looked immaculate. Went to enjoy the concerige lounge and found it very nice as well. Overall the hotel looked empty because I think it was in downtown Miami so not many people stay there for the weekend. Concerige desk personnel was extremely helpful and patient when we asked for directions. Would definitly stay here again, no question.

I spent over 100 nights at JW Marriott last year, travelling on business. The same is true for about 10-15 other people I travelled with. We all had a great time at JW Marriott Miami.

This place is GREAT. I already miss it, but I'm sure I will return soon.

It is probably the best hotel in Miami for business travellers, although during the week-end it's good for leisure travel as well. The hotel is sold out almost every week, so book ahead for best rates/selection, or you'd have to use the Platinum override to get a room.

The rooms are large, with welcoming yellow tones, 42" plasma TV (selected floors), free high-speed internet computer terminals (selected rooms). A nice comfy bed and way too many pillows nicely fill the room.

Ask for a bay view, corner room, concierge floor.

The 21st floor has a concierge lounge (free for 21st floor quests or Gold/Platinum members) that serves breakfast, free drinks and snacks in the evening, and a nice place to chat and relax with friends.

The front desk girls are great, very pretty and always smilling. They are very friendly, helpful, and not stiff as Four Seasons staff.

Please don't forget the cleaning ladies, and leave a couple $$ on the bed, as they do a great job at cleaning the room for you.

This place indeed makes you feel like home.
