“Unique and Yummy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

I love this place. Reminds me of a cafe in Seattle or San Fransisco. The owner is an artist. She hand designs every plate to perfection. The waiter was so nice and very generous with his wine pouring. Everything I've eaten here has been amazing.

“If you are a foodie, this is a MUST restaurant !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

We had the pleasure of dining at the neMesis Urban Bistro on Saturday night. What an amazing culinary experience. This place is not for the non adventurous eaters. Do not expect a quick meal, this is a restaurant to enjoy relax, order many items and share them with your friends. This is serious food for the serious eater, many layers of flavor to each dish. Well worth venturing out of your comfort zone for a meal here.

“Well worth venturing outside my comfort zone!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

From the somewhat sketchy neighborhood to the kangaroo carpaccio, I am SO glad that I was willing to venture outside my comfort zone. The restaurant is located in an area of downtown Miami that is on the edge of revitalization which adds to the quirkiness of this special spot. The atmosphere is cozy and creative with upcycled art that keeps you looking around (check out the restroom too!) Our party of 4 chose to sit at the high bistro table closest to the kitchen where you can observe the chef putting the finishing touches on each dish. Although small the restaurant was surprisingly quiet -- we truly appreciated the low volume of the music. But its really all about the food which was creatively created and presented. I ordered the lamb ragout tortelloni and found it delicious and just enough after sharing two appetizers (the kangaroo carpaccio and the foccacia). We also shared two desserts: the malva pudding (spectacular combination of unusual flavors) and the strawberry shortcake. But the dining experience is more than the sum of its parts. The location, chef, service, decor, ambiance, dinner and wine made this a memorable evening that we will rush back to repeat.

“Loved this place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012

My husband and I moved to the area more than a year ago from up North and really enjoyed this place. The atmosphere has a funky vibe. Serves delicious food.Everyone who worked there was really friendly and helpful ! Save room for dessert. We grabbed a table early (6ish) without a rezzy. Cant wait to go back!
PS. It should be higher ranked on this list!!
