We are Hilton Honors members and have stayed at several Homewood Suites. I would say this was the most disappointing of the lot, possibly because it is older. It is handy to the airport and there are an assortment of chain restaurants reasonably near by. The shower is good, with good quality towels. Chairs and sofa are comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for a light supper. It was fun watching/feeding the turtles and fish in the lagoon behind the breakfast lounge.
However, the bed linens are thin and the mattress not very comfortable (in contrast to a Homewood Suites near us - I would love to buy their mattress). We couldn't shut the bathroom door unless we left the toilet lid seat up, zero clearance otherwise. Internet access was down during our entire stay. The hotel is not well-insulated; you can definitely hear the airplanes across the way. Our bill for a one-bedroom suite for one night was $300 after tax - no way was this hotel worth that much!
