My husband and I stayed here in June with our small dog, and loved our experience. It can be a guessing game when you are traveling with a pet when it comes to the costs and exactly how 'friendly' it actually is--most of the time you don't know until you get there. However, from the first time I called to make reservations, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, letting us know about the minimal pet fee and that she would be provided with a water bowl, a bed, and snacks!!

The hotel is gorgeous, in a nice, quaint neighborhood with convenient shopping just across the street. When we arrived, it was late, but we had paid the fee to have the hot tub ready for us. Unfortunately, the hot tub didn't work, so they moved our room, but waived the fee.

The hotel has an open air lobby, so you get the full Miami feel. The best part of the entire stay was the rooftop pool. We spent an entire day sipping drinks and enjoying the views--it was like a dream. If you are looking for a relaxing, unpretentious hotel in Miami, you must stay here.

We will DEFINITELY stay here again. Actually, Mayfair just came up in conversation the other day. Every trip with a pet should be that easy! Thanks, Mayfair!

my daughter and i enjoyed a delightful lunch, facial and massage at the jurlique spa in the mayfair hotel. we were greeted and escorted to private bath suite each... an excellent facial by carli and superb massage by eric (lynny) and marietta (teddy)... the love of their chosen profession shines!!!

would like to see the courtesy and professionalism of spa personnel passed on to the front desk reception... no acknowledgement coming or going in the lobby... and you know what they say about first impressions!!!

the mayfair is still the grand old dame of the grove and the spa will lure us back!!!

Loved the room I had for a one night stay at the Mayfair..... would have enjoyed a longer visit. The room was a very good size, and to my surprise, there was a piano against one wall. That's a first! It also included a nice sized sitting area, a beautiful, clean bathroom, comfortable beds....I could go on and on. Excellent staff. Only had breakfast, but the restaurant overlooked a beautiful atrium with fountains. Great location in Coconut Grove, which is a fun place to visit. Would highly recommend.

Nothing was too much for staff, especially a lovely young man called Raul. He assisted in pointing out spots and travel arrangements.
