“I'm Impressed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013

My husband gets all the credit for finding this fabulous place using his Marriott rewards. We had a one night stopover in Miami on our way to Hawaii and didn't leave this hotel once. The concierge emailed us before our stay to make any arrangements for us. They arranged pick up and drop off services to and from the airport (Mercedes bus there and town car on the way out). They also arranged for dinner at the french restaurant in the hotel. They greeted us in lobby of the JW Marriott (Beaux Arts is the top 4 floors of the JW) and escorted us up to the check in area. We were given complimentary beverages while checking in. I spaced out and asked for water, husband requested a local brew. We were then shown to our room and given an overview of how to use it as it was pretty high tech. We were also given a bay view room even though we had booked a city view. We were a bit late for our dinner reservation so they called down and made it a bit later for us. All in all the room and it's amenities were some of the nicest I have ever experienced. The bedding must have been 2000 thread count. Molton Brown products were worthy of making space in my 1qt bag in my carry-on. View was awesome. Gym was fully equipped. The only negatives I can think of is we couldn't figure out what the hours of some things like the pool were (showed up just as it was closing); the glass door to the toilet could have been frosted; and there were very few electrical outlets in the room. Otherwise, this is a top notch hotel.

I came across the hotel by pure accident and am so happy I did. Our room 3903 was fab - amazing views, high tech gadgets and yes an amazing bathroom. The reason I am giving 4 and not 5 stars is due to breakfast. We ate 3 times and each time there was no cutlery on the tables, the plates needed a good wash and the food itself was average. The only good thing about breakfast was the yoghurt parfait and even then it wasn't available every morning.

The service is great from check in to check out. The pool area is ok. We did have a couples massage and it was again ok. My lady seemed to be better than the one my husband had. The spa could be less minimal. Gym is FAB! All new equipment and amazing views.

The location is perfect if you don't want to be on south beach - a 15 min drive for $20 ish. There is a shopping/lunch place about 15 min walk away and then the bricknall village is a 5min cab ride.

I would never stay anywhere else if I visit Miami again.

Our second visit to the Beaux Arts. Once again we were assigned a corner room which affords nice views over the bay. Top notch World Class hotel with attentive service. A nice change is that now breakfast is included (wasn't before). This time we rented a car so had to use the valet service. One needs to pack some patience as things can get backed up at times as the Marriott Marquis is serviced by the valets as well. The only glitch of the stay was the waiting period at 1:30 am on a Saturday. Due to construction across the street I think it is a temporary challenge for the valets to work as efficiently as possible. The hotel is so enjoyable for us that it's not enough to lower the hotel from a top rating. We mentioned the delay when checking out and having the situation acknowledged by hotel management also shows that they sincerely seek to improve this shortcoming. Make sure to call for valet service at least 15 minutes before you depart to ensure your vehicle is ready. Overall one of our most favorite hotels in the world.

Room Tip: All floors are high floors (38 to 40), corner rooms offer great views!

I'm a platinum guest with marriott, so i acculmated enough points to stay here. Tripadvisor helped me pick this hotel, i amost picked the JW Marriott for the same amount of points..

It was my anniversary night, was upgraded to a king corner suite, floor to ceiling windows, room controlled by ipad, hardwood floors, neat electronics!!

The bathroom was to die for, i didnt know of molten brown products until this stay... tv in vanity in bathroom, soaking tub, glass shower for at least 5 people...

The bed was so comfortable, curtains were electronically controlled beside bed, so breathaking view when you rise...

Facities: shared with JW which 5-star itself. Gym AAA+, top notch, wife took her first yoga class here...

Do yourself a favor and just drive to south beach, this hotel is the place to stay. I'm saving my points for a week stay next year!!!!

This was our second visit to the Beaux Arts. We returned because it is a delight, truly one of a kind. The rooms ultra modern, and fun. Gadgets abound: iPad for room service, the automatic swiveling monster TV, the deep whirlpool bath, the bathroom TV embedded in the mirror, the huge rain shower for two, and the Illy coffee maker. And the most remarkable part of our visit was the service. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, competent and ever-present. Combine that with the delicious breakfast, cocktails and unlimited still and sparkling bottled water (vital in Miami's summer heat), and you have a truly exceptional hotel experience. Summer rates are surprisingly reasonable. The location is smack in the middle of Miami's burgeoning financial district.

Room Tip: Beautiful views from the east.

Everything else is not exactly 5 star. Breakfast served in the executive lounge was fine but rather a limited selection. The executive lounge serves canapés in the evening but they might as well NOT bother.........simply the worst canapés I have had anyway and they only give you 1 plate which consists of a bit of cheese and bread and the barman lurks looking uncomfortable.......no wonder it was never busy in the evenings.
Everything else is shared with the JW Marriott Marquis. Lovely swimming pool. Restaurants nothing to write home about, and the spa is not worth a visit.
It's such a shame as the rooms with huge bathrooms with molton brown toiletries, bang & olufsen tv's and CD player are fantastic and definitely 5 star.

Everything about this hotel, from the time arrive, until the time you depart, was excellence. It's located within the Marriott Marquis on floors 38-40. The rooms were ultra modern - you can operate everything in your room from your remote control. And if you need something that you can't operate from your remote control, they give you your own iPad. Whatever you need, is at the touch of your iPad. On the concierge floor, premium open bar at 5:30 every day. Daily breakfast is to die for. Not your ordinary free breakfast. Superb! The floor to ceiling windows in the room really make it feel larger than it is. Bathroom is to die for. TV in the mirror, jetted deep tub, rain shower... Molten Brown amenities... When is check out? I could have stayed for days! We are local, but came to check this hotel out as a Staycation. We can't wait to come back!

Room Tip: All the rooms in this hotel are located on the 38-40th floors. You really can't pick a bad floo...
