“Magnificence every step of the way”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

Even before we arrived, personalized emails asking if there is anything they could do to ensure a phenomenal experience.
From arrival to departure and every moment in between the staff makes you feel as if you are the only guest and this is your private residence. The service is beyond amazing as everybody strives to be part of a memorable stay.
The rooms are just specatacular. State of the art doesn't even begin to describe the electronics, lights, electric curtains and black out drapes. Every detail taken into account to make you feel special, even the pillows felt like they were custom made.
Stunning views, first rate amenities and a team that strive for excellence.... what more could I want? Five Star doesn't do this justice.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for Basel weekend and and wow what an experience. I will begin with the staff. Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable and if they were not we easily were brought to someone who did. The room: WOW! Amazing, felt like I was staying in a room made from the Apple Mogul Steve Jobs. We had an iPad in the room, the TV moved to where we were sitting, the shades (Including blackout) were all done by a convenient control next to the bed. The pillows and bedding was made for royalty. The bathroom was ultra modern, whirlpool tub, rain shower, TV screen in the mirror and LED sinks. All Bang & Olufsen electronics. The view was an amazing city and bay view and with ceiling to floor windows it was amazing whether day or night. The experience: The food at any time was amazing, we were welcomed with a cocktail and all. The pool has something for everyone from private cabanas, to lounge chairs, to eating areas. we played virtual bowling and pool, they had a 3d movie room (we didn't get to use) but wow. The morning breakfast, which included Mimosas (included in your stay) was not just bagels and muffins...it was eggs, bacon, chicken apple sausage, bagels with every topping, a yogurt and granola and fruit bar and it was delicious with a waiter and all. We got to also enjoy the spa in which they went out of their way to get us couples massages at 7 pm and again great experience. Everything was catered to us and anything we needed. What a remarkable experience, location, hotel and more. We cannot wait to stay again and don't know any other hotel will measure up to this. We hope Marriott takes this concept to other large cities as well.

Room Tip: Every room is great. Pictures do it no justice.

Reservation process was very easy, and stay is as usual very pleasant.
It has a price to it but you get what you pay for, there are other less expensive hotel oc similair ranking and location, but room amenities and top notch service explain the price.
Will certainly return again.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Beaux Arts for a couple nights on our way back from St. Lucia to end our honeymoon. All we could say was wow!

We were quickly whisked away to the 38th floor lobby and invited to have a seat and drink. We were told upon check-in that we were upgraded to a king suite, which was by far the nicest hotel room I have ever stayed in. There were floor-to-ceiling windows, awesome technology that the staff will show you, and an incredible bathroom! The faucets and TV in the mirror were things that added to the modernness of the room.

We absolutely loved the buffet-style breakfast...there's nothing spectacular but they had fresh fruit, bagels, bacon, cereal, and the like. For it being free we were very happy.

The workout facility and pool are first class amenities. I don't know that I've ever seen a workout facility in a hotel as nice as the one at Beaux Arts.

The staff will do anything in their power to make your stay enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again if given the chance!

Room Tip: Ask for an upgrade to a King suite - you won't regret it!

Stayed here on one of my many business/pleasure trips. The rooms are phenomenal. Bang & Olufsen sound, television, telephone etc. Really comfortable bed. Great service. I had a corner suite and the views at sunset that came pouring in through the floor-to-ceiling windows set the mood for getting ready for a night out after pulling an intense 12 hour workday. If you work hard, play hard, and like the best of everything then this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: Get the corner suite. It's worth it.

I have stayed at many Marriotts around the world. When checking in at the Beaux Arts, you are sent from the standard front desk for the JW to the upper floors and the personal concierge and check in. You are invited to have a seat and offered a drink while the process begins. Instead of just handing over the keys with a room number, you are escorted to your room for a tour and lesson on how the modern conveniences work. From the B&O electronics to the waterfall touch faucets in the dual sinks, this room is top shelf.

The staff is very helpful and literally at your beck and call. Ask and you will receive.

I am not the high roller that you see plenty of in Miami, but this boutique hotel from Marriott made me feel that way. I would certainly stay here again!

You can see from the attached photo, the view was also spectacular.

I booked a room at the JW Marriott Marquis. The day before I left for Miami, I got an email from someone at the Beaux Arts, inviting me to upgrade for no charge. I accepted. Later that day, I saw some comments on another online review site, suggesting that Beaux Arts was gimmicky. I decided to keep the upgrade.

I arrived around midnight. Check in was at the ground floor. The clerk offered to show me how to work the various techie objects in the room, and to escort me to 38, but I declined, figuring a little peasant cunning would let me figure things out.

The 38th floor was nicely done, not opulent, but tasteful, subdued, and looked nicely planned and built. The room was generously sized, with a large bathroom. Very nice hardwood floor. Comfortable and expensive-feeling sofa and chair. Large flat screen. Complicated stereo with speakers behind couch. iPad with info slides (and, in a nice touch, it had my name on its opening screen). Good desk and good desk lighting.

Bed had high-quality linens and duvet. Great mattress and pillows. Drapes opened by controls next to bed, nice touch. Great view.

Mini-bar with expensive treats and an espresso machine. Well-designed closet, with good lighting. Nice robe. Excellent towels, lots of them and high quality.

Large bathroom. Shower with above the head shower bar and option to switch to handheld. Lots of nice stone. Snazzy flat screen tv built into mirror over sinks. Water pressure from sinks was fine. It does splatter a little, but just a little. The blue-red light to show the mix of warm and cold water is eye candy. Not kitschy, just sort of bling-y.

Good sound insulation. Was near elevators but heard nothing.
Breakfast was excellent. Fine selection, friendly staff, and excellent OJ, all in a nice room with great view. I used the pool early in the morning, and it was warm and there were plenty of towels available.

I don't know what the rack rate is. Up to $350 or maybe $400 or so, no problem. Above that, would stick with the JW for regular business travel. I'm glad I had the chance to stay here.
