This was the first time I was ever on a private tour air boat. When my family would visit from the north we would always do the same thing and the same outfitter on 41. It always consisted of going to the cages of alligators that are old and blind and had been man handled for years then take their air"bus" tour with tons of other people. No explanation of the waters, Eco system or animals. You jumped on the ride and the tour operators didn't care if they talked or anything. This time around, we use Airboat in Everglades. Our tour was private with Capt. Ozzie and his love for the Glades showed straight through the regular tourist crap speeches you generally hear. I learned a lot (couldn't remember half of what I learned) found out information that was hard to be believe and he even gave demonstrations of what and how the Indians made teas, gauze, boats, foods, etc. The flora and fauna is amazing. Truly a great trip even the hardwood island tour was amazing. I think I short chained you in your tip! Don't worry I will be back with more friends and family they are always coming down and I will make up for it. Thanks again!
