Very bustling. If you're staying in the area, you could pack a pair of sneakers and run here every morning. Places to run and rent bikes. There are some volleyball nets set up too. Right along Ocean Drive, so you could hang out in the park and on the beach then had over across the street for some lunch and happy hour specials.

I just love that area of Miami Beach. Sunny, cool people, nice beach. Sometimes hard to park around, just keep trying and you'll find a spot. Always used street parking or those public lots, payed hourly.

We've been to South Beach twice...and each time we visit we make sure to visit this park. This is one of the highlights of our trip. I love walking up and down the paths... as well as rentling a bike and riding up and down them. RE: bike rental - you can spend more money and rent a bike right next to the paths...or you can walk up the street a bit (do a google search on the internet to find a store near you) and find a Half Priced Tour store. Anyways, you can rent a bike for $10 a day. We've rented these bikes during both our visits to South Beach and have never had any complaints. The beaches are great and there are places to get water along the path.

The water was cold but beautiful. The lifeguard shacks were colorful and made for cute photos. It wasn't a terribly busy beach which was nice. It was some great people watching!
