This Residence Inn is one of four Marriott hotels which make up the "Marriott Airport Campus," ...regular Marriott, Fairfield Inn, Courtyards, and this one. We like Residence Inns and stay when we can...this one was free from our participation in a special Marriott offer. We stayed one night to let down from a long cruise and to get a much cheaper flight home the next day. Very close to the airport, the shuttle runs every 15 minutes and keeps pretty much on time. The area is very clean, seems very safe, nicely landscaped, etc. Hotel is clean, great two-room suite, plenty of room. The breakfast included, as usual, lots of hot items and was well served and monitored. The dinner had a "comfort food" theme...meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravey, salad, vegs, breads, etc. It was good...not great but certainly acceptable. I was surprised that this hotel didn't serve wine with the dinner as have every other Residence Inn in which we've stayed. They have a "Manager's Reception" with snack foods and wine and beer on another day, no other times for alcohol as far as I know. This wasn't a major issue, but I was puzzled as to why and I gather it is manager's discretion. I'd recommend this property as one in which I would stay again. I rank it low on value as the cost, were to have had to pay, of hotels in Miami near air and cruise ports are rediculously high.
