“Bayside is fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

There are many restaurants, and places to shop, and there is always music, and sightseeing tours that leave from there.

“Good Shopping in Downtown”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

Excellent location to lunch/dinner in Downtown Miami, with stores and with beautiful view. In Bayside Marketplace was located Hard Rock Cafe.

“Lots of action”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

Loved Bayside Marketplace. Even though it was drizzling, there were lots of people and music. I really enjoyed watching the dancing going on. It was right on the Port of Miami so lots of yachts and cruise ships going in and out. They also had a lot of places to eat. Great place just to hang out and enjoy an evening.

“Great and fun. Place for visitors”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

Everything is going on here. Eat, drink, shop, entertainment, It's right on the water where you can watch the cruise ships coming and going. Sometimes dolphins swim by. I've never found a top restaurant there but, if you're in the mood and can overlook the heat and the crowds, it could be fun. But it's no my thing.

“For Any visitors to Miami”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

People who actually live in Miami rarely go to Bayside. It's nice, pretty and inviting if you are a tourist, it's worth a visit for the view. However, There are some restaurants that are ok (not really that great) with different cuisines. Shops are small, have limited selection and the price is 30%+ what you will pay at a local shopping center. Also, if you have to park, many times it's a fight to get a spot and it is expensive to park.

Most locals liked the old Bayfront Park that was there before with the charter fishing boats, the Japanese Gardens, Large Main Library used to be there, lots of trees and pidgeons to feed, it was not commercial at all then.. Now it's how do we suck the money out of the tourist. Again, it's ok to see for a morning or afternoon, that's it.
