“Nice little shopping area for souvenirs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

This place had most local souvenirs and available services for seeing the bay. Plenty of boat options--including water taxis. Restaurant options were okay.

“Nice Day Out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

Like browsing the shops at bayside, nice choice and lovely views if you stop for food or a drink. We visited Hard Rock Cafe for a drink, nice to see all the memorabilia on the walls. There was also live music at bayside at night.

“An average market but a few good stalls”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

The bayside market place is a little tacky and very cheap and cheerful, we viewed all the stalls and restaurants in around 30 minutes, the only stall my wife though was on any quality was little India, she bought two really nice dresses. There is also a small bay that sells fruit smoothies, these were excellent. Outside of the market stalls there are a few shops and restaurants, again the only decent ones were Guess and Victoria secrets. We did go up to Hooters though to buy our teenage sons a cap and next years calendar! If you want a mall to do shopping you must go to the aventura mall, it was excellent and about 40 minutes away from bayside.

“An outdoor shopping district”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

Interesting to walk through once. There was a nice combination of storefront and vendor stalls, the vendors were a bit on the pushy side, but not intolerably so. The bathrooms left a lot to be desired.

“Fair”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012 via mobile

We were here on Halloween and walked down from our hotel to take one of the boat tours. We had prepaid part of the fare or would have taken a different tour, but then that is probably why the hotel pushed the advanced sale. It was a long walk than it looked. They did have music but after taking the boat tour and getting something to eat we were over it and just wanted to head back to the hotel. We did walk thru the outside shops but did not buy anything as I didn't care for the feel of the place. I felt like I was in a carnival and people kept trying to get me to play their game. The one thing that was worth the walk, however since it was Halloween, was a really big tree outside of the Gump restruant. Kids were going inside the tree and it looked very Halloweenish.
