Coco Walk in a beautiful setting with coffee shops, eateries, clothing shops, green tropical plants. Just a pleasure to walk, shop, and people watch. Near water, boats, old homes. Safe
CocoWalk is a lot like Bayside & many other open air mall-type attractions that I've been to in Miami. There was live music, a VIP movie theater, a dude with birds you can pose for pics with & even a caricaturist. It was fun, lively, very hip but also, strangely very familiar.
Lots of variety...shops and restaurants and Starbucks! There is a movie theater also. It's located right across the street from the Mayfair.
CocoWalk was a great place to hang out. Nice places to shop, great food, and interesting people to meet.
Coco Walk is just another 'development', nothing authentic about it. Coconut Grove used to be a real 'village' now it is a wannabe village with mediocre restaurants and very little else. The politicians are about to cut down all of the trees so it will get worse.
