“Is this in the USA?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2014

It is very different.... Miami is a city put together with many different neighborhoods. I was interested in how Little Haiti looks like, so we went for a drive. I have to admit it was interesting to see as it is so different to anything else (or from hat you expect Miami to be), but we weren't comfortable stopping there... Lots of garbage everywhere, on the streets in front gardens, shops had very heavy security fences.... its just very different, but still interesting to see.

“NOT SURE WHY THIS LOCATION IS LISTED”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

Who in their right mind, especially anyone who knows Miami would want to visit Little Haiti???? Certainly not for "arts and crafts". Make sure you have Trip Interruption Insurance and good health coverage. The only thing good about the place is that you are not far from Jackson Hospital Ryder Trauma Center (just in case you need to be taken there) Proceed at your own risk!

“Good food, friendly people and the "Prestige" beer”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2014

We were keen to do something different than the stereotype tourists, and drove to little Haiti to have lunch and look around.

Little Haiti may not have many big things to see, buy or do, but we were surprised of how delicious our Haitian lunch tasted and how happy and friendly the Haitian people were to us. I highly recommend a lunch here, although you wan´t find any place with white table linens or silver cutlery.

I can´t see why it should be a safety issue at all to drive there during daytime, I guess it just helps to be curious on cultures and leave your Rolex at home.

If you go, don´t forget to buy home a sixpack of the Haitian Prestige beer - it tastes great, and you´ll support Haiti´s much-needed export industry :)

“There's nothing for a visitor to see here . . .”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2014 via mobile

Really, there's nothing for a visitor to see here. Drove around trying hard to find the attraction here but couldn't. Thankfully, we ended up at the Coconut Grove Art Festival which was awesome.
