The course is ok. The greens are a train wreck. The facility including the driving range are not welcoming. Broken asphalt, old mats, You'd think the tribe were bordering on destitute. They're not. Carts are old. Just a mediocre experience
Miccosukee Golf and Country Club offers, in my view, the best combination of quality golf, reasonable pricing and central location for a Miami-based visitor keen on a bit of golf. I have played the course half a dozen times and have enjoyed each outing. There are 27 holes divided into three nines (Dolphin, Marlin, Barracuda). All of them were, in May 2009, in good condition. The Barracuda has the slowest greens and seems to be the least-frequented of the three but its deceptive and intelligent layout made it my favourite. Friendly starters - one gave us a sleeve of Titleist NXT's on our second recent visit - help make this my first choice for golf in Miami.
