“this place is amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

I found it so fascinating that you walk into the home and the house has no ac yet you feel a breeze at all times and its not boiling hot inside. I think if all homes were made like that florida homes wouldnt have so much issue with hurriicanes this house has survived them all the view is breath taking

“Beautiful State Park, Historical home on the water”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

Beautiful State Park in Coconut Grove. Historic home surrounded by nature and the bay.
Great staff and volunteers run fun family events, movies and concerts.
A true treasure!

“Stunning views over the sea”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

This was in the guide book but to be honest it didn't do it justice. It is very interesting if you are interested in plants or the early days of miami and the life then this is perfect for you. Stunning views over the sea when you get to the bottom of the garden.

“Green Space in the Middle of the Grove”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

Nice state park in the middle of urban Miami. The walkway to the house is very plush and beautiful, green and tropical.
The house is nice, the is a charge to take house tour.
Free if you want to stroll and enjoy the open yard and bay view.
Sad though on both sides of the park are condos that take away a lot of the beauty. Park only open a few days a week, think that's due to state budget cuts.
