As a Miami resident, I think it's worth a visit at least once. I would not recommend it to a passing tourist though unless you stay for more than two weeks. The abbey has a nice garden, nice statues and in hot weather, the cloister is very welcome because it's both airy and covered. It's also a wonder in itself because each stone was transported from old Europe to Miami so it probably makes it the oldest building here, but it still fits very well in the landscape.
