“Interesting museum and lovely gardens”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

Well worth a visit. Beautiful views of bay. Lovely gardens, good cafe for lunch. We visited from metro station after a recommendation from a local and were glad we took the detour from our plan for the day, car not needed.

“Great symbol for Miami”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

The first place we visited after checking in. The history as well as the architecture and gardens make this an essential visit in Miami. We have children 12 & 16 and they enjoyed as well. The house was interesting and shows how to take advantage of the sea breezes before AC. However, it is the gardens and the grounds on the bay that allow the house to show the real beauty of South Florida. All of us enjoyed this visit that combined history, architecture, exercise and nature.

“Whatever you imagine it's better!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

Vizcaya mansion and gardens blew our minds. The gardens were intricate and as beautiful as the Botanical Gardens. The Mansion was large opulent and beautiful. There were cocktails and an informative walking tour. There was a secret garden and an orchid garden. Trolleys up and down Biscayne boulevard are free and clean. The gift shop had a bakery, the pastries and gelato were fantastic.

“Vizcaya a true treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

I have visited Vizcaya 3 times in the last 50 years and hope to return again someday.
There is always something new to see and learn and the site is being very well maintained.
Anyone with an interest in history, architecture or art would find Vizcaya most interesting.
