Thank you for offering to share your feedback about your recent stay with us.

It was a delight to hear that you were pleased with the overall décor of the hotel and we will share your compliments with our entire team.

It was unfortunate to hear that our sun beds did not meet your expectations. We have received your valuable comments in the spirit intended and sincerely appreciate your most candid feedback.

We are grateful for your recommendation and look forward to welcoming you back soon.
In the meantime we remain at your service.

Had my best friend's bachelor party planned for a wknd in Miami. We wanted a place that we could relax, enjoy the weather, get out for some nightlife, but not be in the South Beach area. The Viceroy MADE our trip. Beautiful hotel. Comfortable rooms. Incredible amenities (the pool was the perfect scene - not scene-y at all and comfortable for everyone, with a nice mix of families, couples, and single people; the spa - fantastic as well). Location was perfect...surrounded by restaurants in the area, bars, food and convenient stores - everything that you could want to get to. A 15 minute cab ride to SB to enjoy the nightlife there. And a great rooftop club in the hotel that stays open until 6am - you can't get any more convenient for those that like to go out at night.

Everyone said how perfect the hotel situation was, that it made the trip.

And the staff...unbelievable. Got us cars, helped up w arrangements, and even saw that it was my birthday and sent a bottle of wine up for us...was so surprised!

BTW, if you need assistance of any sort, ask for Mirta...she's the best!

- GG

Came to Miami to enjoy the Ultra Music Festival in Bayfront Park - The Viceroy couldn't have been in a better location! - 5 minute walk to the Park but far enough to enjoy a good night sleep. Room was beautiful. Being on the 9th floor, I'd figured I would hear street noise but I was wrong. Shower and bath tub? Epic. Comfy-est bed ever. Front desk staff was friendly but always seemed too busy to be bothered at times. Maybe add an extra staff member? The pool was amazing and very excited to know we could relax on the pool beds without paying extra (some hotels charge!) EOS Restaurant was perfect for breakfast. It's alittle expensive but the views made up for it. I will definitely be staying here again next year.

Room Tip: It doesn't hurt to ask if upgrades are available.

I was attracted to stay at the Viceroy Miami as it was designed by Kelly Wearstler and was looking forward to design of the hotel, common areas and room. I booked a Viceroy King Deluxe room and was offered the option of eStandby Upgrades to a junior suite ($15 extra per night), one bedroom suite ($30 extra per night) and one bedroom river view suite (extra $50 per night). Upon check-in, I was told that I had been 'upgraded' to a one bedroom suite. However, little did I know that one bedroom river view suite was in the residence area of the building. The baggage porter took us through back doors to the condo side of the building where our room was located. The residence side has no atmosphere at all, as if your paying over $500 for a room, you expect to enjoy Kelly Wearstle's design of the common areas and hotel room. Well, the common area of the condo residence side is a not attractive and the one bedroom suite is a bland white. To order anything, including mini-bar, everything has to be 'ordered' from the hotel part. When checking-out the following morning, I brought this to the attention of the front desk staff Stephanie and was told 'we'll put this into your file for the next time'. There was no customer service recovery. Sorry Viceroy Miami, there won't be a next time, as I'll choose an AmEx Fine Hotel and Resorts property when visiting Miami. There must be a reason why the Viceroy Miami is not part of the AmEx FHR program....maybe its the lack of customer service as this has also been mentioned with other TripAdvisor reviews for this property.

Room Tip: Don't select the eStandby Upgrade one bedroom river view suite as the room is not in the hotel...

Dear Guest,

I thank you for taking the opportunity to share your feedback of your recent stay with us.

Please allow me to apologize for the difficulties and inconvenience you experienced throughout your last stay at The Residences. I am deeply concerned that this issue has caused so much distress to you.

It was unfortunate to hear that the creative design of our The Residences at Viceroy Miami did not meet your expectations. While many of our guests enjoy having the opportunity to stay in very spacious accommodations featuring spectacular views of the Miami skyline, we understand that the design and layout of the Residences differ from the Kelley Wearstler designed guestrooms and Suites at Viceroy Miami.

We have received your valuable comments in the spirit intended and sincerely appreciate your most candid comments.

At Viceroy Miami we are in constant pursuit of perfection and are already working on solutions that will prevent similar problems from occurring in the future. With the creation of company-wide training sessions, our customer service will be stronger than ever and will help eliminate the problems you experienced.

I kindly ask that you contact me personally, so that I may handle your arrangements when your travels next bring you to Miami.

We take great pride in the opportunity of welcoming you back soon and remain at your service.

Yours Sincerely,
Laurence Dubey

It is a very nice hotel, with a very cool design. Signed by Phillip Starck, there is always a surprise around. Visiting the spa is a must. Pool view is beautiful. Parking is a little expensive (U$30), but it is so at most other hotels.

This was my second stay with the viceroy Miami. The first time around was excellent... Just make sure they don't 'upgrade' you to the Club50 area of the hotel! This is the hotel-managed area of apartments/rooms owned by someone else! The fittings are different, the furniture is different, the service is different... And there's no Internet. Actually, there's a modem inside the room and it's obviously working, but it's the building's and not the hotel's. If you complain, expect being pushed around and not be given the opportunity to speak with a manager. My only advice is: if, at checkin, they offer you anything above the 14th floor, turn around and stay elsewhere

Dear Guest,

Thank you for sharing your comments about your recent stay with us.

It was unfortunate to learn that your second stay was not as outstanding as the first. We pride ourselves in ensuring our guests experience is seamless and I was disappointed to hear we did not achieve this goal with you.

Please accept my most heartfelt apologies for your unpleasant stay at the Residences at Viceroy Miami: most of our guests enjoy having the opportunity to stay in much more spacious accommodations with high floor views of the Miami skyline but we understand that the design and layout of the Residences differ on many levels from the Kelley Wearstler designed guestrooms at Viceroy Miami. Your valuable feedback has been discussed with the front office team so that we can anticipate our guests preferences and needs more appropriately in the future.

We strive to ensure our patrons experience the best visits possible during their travels and we fell short of our goal this time. I truly hope these incidents have not marred your overall impression of Viceroy Miami.

Please feel free to contact me personally so that I may handle your arrangements for your next visit to Miami.

In the interim we remain at your service and hope to earn the opportunity of hosting you once again.

Yours Sincerely,
Laurence Dubey
