“When can we return?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2009

After attending an unexpectedly stressful weekend wedding in the Caribbean, we made the best decision to stay at EPIC Hotel during our overnight layover in Miami. A quick, 20 minute, cab ride from the airport and we were greeted by the friendly staff as if they were anxiously awaiting our arrival. Everyone was completely professional, charming and eager to assist in making sure our stay was fun and relaxing. Upon entering our inviting room we quickly decided to stay and have dinner on the 16th floor at Area 31. It was a beautiful, warm evening...just as the sun was setting...we chose outdoor dining, near the pool, overlooking the water. The seafood dishes were savory, the coctails were unique and delicious, and the desserts sweet and satisfying...couldn't have asked for more. Concierge was friendly and helpful in arranging our airport transfer through Aventura Worldwide Limousine - they saw us off and we promised to return. There is so much more I could say, but I'll leave that for you to go and discover for yourself! (Oh, and if you have AAA, don't forget to check for a discount!!)

We selected this hotel because Tripadvisor rated it no# 1. Therefore, we decided to stay there and then stay additional days in SOBE. This hotel is definitely top-notch. Everything was so plush and trendy. The balony view of the bay, the rooms, the bathroom is all that!!! The restaurant and bar was great! The staff was extremely professional and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff from the front desk to the valet guys was simply amazing and accommodating. The poolside happy hour is a treat for the guests, not to mention the gorgeous views to the bay and Miami Beach are extraordinary.

This hotel is not far from Miami Beach so I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Miami. This is now my favorite place to stay in Miami.

This hotel looks pretty new ans it does have many comforts (free internet connection on the room, bath and spacious bathroom, very comfortable bed as regards what better suits me..). Views on bay and city building were really amazing and staff was very professional and kind. I would sincerely suggest this hotel for those visiting Miami. I would have had some different ideas about the location (not so close to South Beach..) but because of its high quality i would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Epic, because it was close to the Port of Miami. The Hotel was very clean and has the most comfortable beds. The balcony's are great and have great views. The staff at the Epic Hotel were very accommodating and gave us a room in the morning when we arrived from a red eye flight. They also have computers in every room for free.

Immaculate hotel! We really lucked out with a deal with breakfast we found here through TripAdvisor's QuickChek. The hotel still seems relatively new and we actually had to almost pinch ourselves when we walked in the lobby. This place looks like it's for celebrities. The pool area is something you'd see on TV - ultra modern, private outdoor areas with lounges, bars and televisions behind a curtain. The rooms are very spacious and well-appointed, complete with a balcony overlooking the bay and a personal desktop computer at the desk. The bathroom had his and her sinks, a soaking tub and a separate shower - and is at least double the size of most hotel bathrooms.

The staff was more than happy to accommodate us, even giving us a 3pm checkout when we requested it. They were shooting a music video in the lobby on the day of our checkout, which should tell you how glamorous this place is.

The breakfast included in the rate was at their Area 31 restaurant and just included juice, coffee/tea and assorted pastries... so we decided to order an omelet as well to have a more balanced meal. The croissants were amazing, but breakfast could have been better overall. Also, parking is $32 a night which we thought was high, but you definitely need a car to go to Miami Beach, see the sites and go to restaurants. Right now, this area is pretty deserted (which might explain the deal we got), but it looks like there will be a Whole Foods, movie theatre, shops and restaurants just across the street.

Great place... highly recommended if you can afford it!

This is by far the best looking, finest hotel I've ever been in, period.

I have stayed at many upper class 4-5 star hotels and EPIC takes the prize, it is breathtaking and grand in every level, the staff is professional, serviceable, warm and very helpful, the rooms are very zen inspired and the amenities are superb, the restaurant Area 31 was delicious and prices were reasonable, the beds were super comfty, and THE VIEW....?, AMAZING!!!

We stayed at a club level room with waterview, and the views are amazing at all hours, but specially at night were you can have a VERY romantic time if you please because everything is so private.

I can't wait to go back, this IS MY FAVORITE HOTEL, no just in Miami, but overall!!!

Advise; If you are into nightlife, try the lounge at the lobby level of EPIC, my wife and I made the mistake of going out to south beach (which was dead), and when we came back the lounge was ON and a lot of people were there, too bad we were too tired to go that night, but next time were there, we'll definitively try it.
