Bed Bugs are keeping us awake at 5am right now! We are having a winter getaway from NYC. Our entire Florida trip should be very pleasant until we staying in this hotel. There are Bed Bugs in their room. We called the front desk yesterday and they recognized quickly, switched room and deduct one night expense for us. However, either our clothes were bed bug infested already or they have bed bug everywhere. They are biting us again at this room.
It is so frustrated to even think about how to deal with the aftereffect.

I have stayed at another Hotel Indigo prior to our stay at this hotel in Dadeland so I was optimistic about my choice. Good news is it is convenient to Dadeland Shopping or The Falls. We found the staff to always smile and welcome us back into the hotel. Parking is free and that was a plus!

We stayed at The Hotel Indigo for 8 nights in January of 2013. The hotel reminds me of a hotel which is in need of repairs. It has a distinct old Holiday Inn from the 1970's feel. The room was modern and free Internet was included. But after the fourth day, the free Internet no longer worked. We could never get the housekeeping to leave towels. Every night we were without towels. Housekeeping Staff did not speak English, so it was difficult to get our point across..Everyday, something was forgotten to be replenished, coffee, shampoo, glasses or towels. Perhaps, we just overstayed our welcome!

They offered us an inclusion of breakfast with our room rate which we didn't do. The restaurant in the lounge, had the smell of cinnamon which permeated the first floor. Our room was on the first floor and so by the 5 th day, the smell felt overwhelming. There is a Starbuck's right across the street as well as a Don Pan bakery. At least, the Wi-Fi worked at Starbucks.

I did not feel very safe in this location as some of the clientele appeared less than desirable. I never did see security or closed circuit cameras.

This hotel is designed for people that have an agenda and are basically going to only sleep at this hotel. I would not want to spend the day out by the pool here. The pool is not heated either! Also I would insist on a room which is above the first floor. Most of the first floor windows have the headlamps of the parked cars peeking in which offers limited privacy. Also bring your own toiletries. As for towels, get them off the maids cart when you can!

I stayed one night in this hotel and found it comfortable, a good bed with enough pillows, spacious and well equipped rooms, with WiFi and wired internet with good speed, a 32-inch LCD TV with all necessary inputs to connect any equipment.
Cleaning can improve and the bathroom fan noise is very strong.
The room has a good safe box and an small closet.
Checking in was very easy and the person at the front desk was very friendly.
This hotel is pet friendly and I take my cat with me and I had no problem with this, I just paid $ 20 for the animal's stay for one night, According to hotel policy, the maximum payable is $ 75. I sent several emails asking about the hotel pet policy, and they always answered quickly and with very good communication, a rare thing these days.
The night that I stayed not upset me any noise nor any animal sounds from other rooms
The hotel is located in south Miami Dade, close to Dadeland mall and with a good communication to any where in the city, of course you must consider the traffic that is heavy in the rush hours.
the hotel have a good free parking and a friendly personal. You will find a cafeteria in the lobby that looks as a fast food restaurant.
I thought the hotel was a little bit pricey but for one night, was ok for mi.

We stayed here overnight as we drove from Orlando to Miami for a day and a 1/2 trip. The hotel is close to a major mall and several strip malls with supermarkets, restaurants, etc. The room was nice and clean. We got in a bit early so we couldn't' check in, which was not an issue since we were hungry. We were looking for good Cuban food and the staff suggested Havana Harry's. We went there and were not disappointed. In the morning we had breakfast at the hotel. Service was a bit slow, but food was good.
