“Little taste of Havana”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2014 NEW

dont know where to start... when ever i visit Miami i have to go to little havana. my day starts form breakfast. if you have not had a Cuban breakfast its a must (no Vegetarian option). when breakfast is done walk around and try tropical fruits from the stands.
try the cuban coffee if you are a coffee lover. I was lucky enough to catch few of the school parade.
overall it's a must go place in Miami

“Disappointed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2014

This area is basically a rundown area of Miami. We did find one restaurant to have lunch where they had a buffet for $12.95. The food was good for the price and the service was very good.

The area itself seems is not what it is hyped up to be. There is really nothing to differentiate it as an interesting ethnic community. There was the domino park where people play dominoes all day and there were a couple of cigar stores where you could see cigars being hand rolled. All in all unless you have time to waste and you just want to see the area to say you were there I would not recommend it.

We did a two hour walking tour, it was excellent, informative and it was great to see a different side of Miami. Great characters along the way.

“SO-SO”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2014

This attraction was part of the city tour our group took, prior to embarking on our Caribbean cruise. While it is interesting to know how little Havana came into being , I wish the tour guide didn't spend so much time in this place. Except for the little houses displaying Cuban craftsmanship in the making of iron grills, some Cuban business establishments and an overload of history, the tour guide spent close to an hour in the vicinity of Little Havana. We could have lingered in other attractions like the Marina where the original Pan-am office was located, the home stadium of the Miami Heat, or South Beach, where great photo shots could have been taken. The bay cruise by the homes of the rich and famous saved the day. Still and all, the driver and the tour guide still received gracious tips! The next time you take a tour of Miami, specially on a limited time, you wouldn't miss anything, by skipping Little Havana.
