David's is an OK place to eat, but definitely nothing to write home about. The menu is annoyingly limited and the food quality is average. The service that we received was friendly but inattentive. The waitress neglected to refill the wine or offer more water once the glasses were empty, nor did she check back to see whether or not the meal was to our liking. Unfortunately, it was not. The steaks were ordered medium rare, yet were served quite rare (think Moo!). We ate them anyway. The fries appeared to be white and lacked crispness, a definite sign of being undercooked. The broccoli was bland and uninspiring. The fried shrimp were fairly decent. All in all, I can't say that it was a total disaster, but I wouldn't recommend this establishment to an epicurean or anyone with a sophisticated palette.
