used to spend a lot of time here. but lately we feel that the management is out to get the best of the customers. the food is okay but you really have to keep up on the prices. things like wine during the cocktail hour was always $4.00 and $6.00 after that. Now it's $5.00 during the cocktail hour and $8.00 after! Also the breakfast special was $4.99. Now it $4.00. Sounds great? Well coffee is now $2.50 a cup (it used to be included). But the breakfast special was always great.

“Relaxed beach cafe, amazing fresh fish dishes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2014 via mobile

Had a great lunch at Sand inthe Beach. Very casual, shaded open air spot, right on the beach. Great view of surfers and paddleboarders. Our party ordered rare tuna sandwich, blackened fish tacos, avocado salad with mahi, and a BLT that included a fried egg and watercress. All were amazing as were the shoestring fries! Well worth the drive.

“Wow what great find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2014

It was by chance we stopped here for lunch. The food was great. The salad dressings are all homemade and delicious. I had the best salad with avacado I have had in a long time. The chowder was a large bowl and my husband loved it. the other friends we were with loved their meals. the place is clean and neat even though we sat in the sand-sort of liked that beachy feel!
I would give it a try and hope to get back there.

“Beach Front & uniquely DELICIOUS!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2014

I tried this my last day in town. Wish I would of tried it sooner! I love the fact your table is in the Sand! Oceanfront, great service & diverse menu. The Smoked Fish of the Day is not to be missed!! They smoke it onsite! It's a meal in itself! Served with Red Onions, Tomatoes, a Capers Jalopenos and fresh fried Tri-Coloered tortilla Chips! Yum! Many other items for Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner! Great view and the sun on your back or shade if you prefer! I'll be back next time I'm in town!

“Good view, good food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2014

This is a modest-looking oceanfront restaurant, but don't pass it bye looking for something better. You're already there. Having a great meal outside by the beach was so refreshing for us two road-weary tourists. The prices were unexpectedly economical for such good food. I also got a great Bloody Mary for $4.
