We were unpleasantly surprised by this hotel. After reading other reviews, we thought we picked a gem. The beds were new and comfortable, but this hotel is very, very dirty. When we first arrived the room looked like it had not be vacuumed yet. There were potato chips on the floor between the beds and lots of dirt and trash in the open area in front of the window. We called housekeeping and they came up and vacuumed. But she didn't vacuum half of it up! I had to hand pick what I could so my children wouldn't. Gross! My kids found an old bottle under the bed and old bags of McDonald's under the armoire. The dirt doesn't stop there. My husband and I used the fitness center a few times and found it to be just as dirty as our room. There were also many things broken in our room: the peep hole, the toilet paper holder, the bathtub plug (made giving baths difficult). We got the impression they are trying to update this older hotel, but new TV's and beds don't make up for uncleanliness and poor maintenance. On a positive note, all the staff were very friendly.
