We really liked this place. Excellent seafood with reasonable prices. We liked that they show some creativity with their cooking without getting too far out in left field. Cool atmosphere, especially out on the deck.

we love this place, great food, not too expensive, great staff, and what a view. we ate out on the deck one night when a big storm came thru... it was the most fun we'd had in awhile, all tucked up under the bar! thanks for a great time. shelli
I've been dining at BoneFish Willy's for years. We love the Rustic setting and wonderful view of the river. The outside bar is just charming, the food is always excellant with fresh fish specials nightly. Everything was cooked to pefection once again and the garlic bread is to die for.
Granted, I have a higher than usual expectation of restaurants. My wife and I ate at Bonefish Willy's on several occasions, because I didn't want my first visit to be my last visit. I wanted to give them a chance, an honest chance.
After three visits, a clear pattern emerged. The food was mediocre and the service was terrible. Wait times exceeded 35 minutes after our order, the food came out lukewarm and I had to go looking for our server on more than one occasion.
They are now officially off our dining list. Maybe I should buy the place.
Great food, resonable prices, outstanding river views and friendly service but not fancy. Our friends that have lived in Melbounre for years didn't know about Bone Fish Willy's.
