we may have just hit it on an off night. it was okay. service was poor. the waiter was convinced that salmon couldn't be grilled. i've enjoyed grilled salmon a million places... not here... food i got was okay. atmosphere was very nice we sat outside. (inside is very crowded, would have hated to be in there. they need to learn to put uncooked rice in their salt shakers to keep the moisture from caking up the salt in the shakers
Great crab cakes! The fish is consistently great and the atmosphere can't be beat.
Wonderful salads and crab stuffed mushrooms started our great evening. I had SNOOK fish bruscetta style that was fantastic. We also had Willy was a Fisherman salad that was a lovely medley of fish and seafood on a bed of salad veggies and toppings of all kinds. It was delicious too. This is a great place with great service. Bryan was terrific and a wealth of info as he is a local who has lived there forever. It's a small place, but the outdoor seating is so pretty. I would spray with insect repellent if we went again, but this is a neat little spot. We liked it so much that we bought T shirts! It's not fancy and they don't pretend to be. Most entrees were around $17 with the specials going for $22.
Well, after waiting 45 minutes we asked the hostess when we would be sat and she said ooops I forgot you....waited another 20 minutes. I think the whole staff was stoned, and the manager was walking arould barefoot.
We went there to celebrate my 40th birthday. We have been to this restaurant before and thought it would be a pleasant night out. Our reservation was for 6:30, we finally got seated at 7:00 pm. (on a Wednesday night) Actually, we still didn't have a problem. After we were seated at 7:00 pm, had ordered drinks and 2 appetizers, we still didn't have any salad, bread, appetizers at 7:45. We finally asked, Danny, our very rude waiter, for some bread, he informed us that he usually brings bread with salads, then came back to the table with the bread and tossed it to us and walked away. After deciding to leave, my husband found him, and told him we were unhappy and were not going to be dining there. Danny then said COOL, and threw our appetizers on the floor.
