This Hotel has great potential to earn top dollar. The property has all the bones for a great place to vacation but "average" renovations are holding it back. It's a great location with beautiful beaches. The beds were very uncomfortable starting with the hard sheets and duvet. When you are deciding on bedding, it's always wise to sleep in it first. The hotel obviously needs insulation and new windows because there was a loud dirty dehumidifier in the room and difficult to regulate temps. The AC was so loud it kept waking us up. Dingy curtains and oversize table made the room crowded. The doors slam closed very loudly and you better watch your fingers. Even during a renovation the hotel should be kept clean, including the property. The hot tub was full of sand and cold. The pool was freezing and of course they told me it was heated. "clue" if guest are not using your pool it's too cold! The choice of art was awful and the patio chairs were disgusting. I saw the plans for this one and It appears to me that the owners are trying to cut corners with this renovation and it is a waste of money when if you do it right you can charge top dollar and stay booked all year. I wish I had the chance to fix this one. Again it's a great location with great potential. My suggestion to the owner is to spend the extra money on the renovation and staff. Hope I wasn't too harsh. I just see the potential of this place. (I may be a little spoiled, use to great spaces and great service)
