“NO FITNESS CENTER”

I'm very diissppointed that this information was not provided up front. It makes me leery about returniing.
The pool is clean, but verrry cold, and the jets in the hot tub are barely working.
I'm not thrilled.

We appreciate you taking the time to tell us about your stay. Please except our sincere apology for the inconvenience of fitness center not being open. We are renovating the entire property and one of the items on the list is the fitness center. When we reopen the center it will be bigger and more accommodating to our guests needs. I realize this didn’t benefit you this trip however, with you and other guests needs in mind we have an agreement with a local gym for our guests to use temporarily until our new fitness center is reopened.

We are so excited about all the renovations taking place. Once everything is complete we will be the best on the beach. I hope that the issues you encountered won’t keep you from returning to our hotel to enjoy our wonderful property. I promise everything you mentioned if it hasn’t already been addressed it will be. We do hope to see you again soon.

“Good choice in Melbourne”

We have family in the area and stay here because it is on the beach. The hotel is dated although they are currently doing some room renovations. The ocean front corner suites are best. Higher floors offer incredible views, day and night. The beach is nice here and the hotel patio is a great place to have breakfast. The staff at this hotel is very good. We walked through other hotels that are nearby on the beach but have not stayed at any of them. All things considered this seems to be the best option.

“A "Crowne" Jewel of a Hotel”

I have always enjoyed staying at Crowne hotels throughout the U.S. but this had to be the best! I have stayed here twice. The location is phenomenal, right on the beach. The Tiki bar has a lovely deck right next to the dunes so you can relax and enjoy the waves. I also had breakfast sitting out on the deck and it was just so peaceful!

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. They have a nice balcony with a table and chairs where you can enjoy the view while having breakfast in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening!

You can walk right out onto the beach from the pool/Tiki bar area and go for a long walk on the uncrowded beach. I didn't use the pool but did take a look at it and it's super clean and sparkling.

Crowne prides itself on it's sleep comfort bedding and I have to say out of all the hotels I have stayed at, they are the best! I just want to snuggle down in and stay there!

Staff are some of the friendliest around and go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied and have everything you need.

Room Tip: Higher floors have a much better view

I am so happy you enjoyed every aspect of your stay with us! I have to agree that our oceanfront deck is a wonderful place to relax in the morning and enjoy a mimosa or two! Our stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean truly add to the overall serenity of the experience. I'm glad you were able to enjoy these views from your private balcony as well. “"renovated" room had a really loud AC. water turned off.”

I'm rating this stay poor because even though the priceline price was good and the beach access excellent the room AC was so noisy I had to turn it off in the middle of the night and they turned the water off on the day we checked out so we couldn't shower before leaving town. Maybe this was the "priceline" room, but not a good sign for a renovated room.

Regardless of how you booked your room, we are glad that you found your way to our property to enjoy our hotel and amenities! I am truly sorry that you experienced issues with your air conditioning unit. We have maintenance on-site for extended hours to correct these issues and ensure a comfortable night's sleep. In regards to our necessary water shut-off, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have cause you. As soon as we were aware of the issue, we began contacting guests to inform them and offer solutions. This type of emergency maintenance is not a typical experience that our guests encounter. I hope you will stay with us again in the future so that you may have the Crowne Plaza experience you deserve!

“The Locals favorite”

The Locals favorite for beach, food and drink. Had a great view in a rewly updated room at a resonable rate. Liked it so much athat we stayed an extra night. Currently in middle of a major upgrade effort, but the staff worked twice as hard to make up for the inconveniences
